DCG Ethiopia organized a workshop with all DCG Ethiopia members to discuss and agree on DCG Ethiopia's multi annual and annual plans based on the new DCG strategy for 2007-2011.

A member of the DCG secretariat in Norway attended the workshop and presented the reasons for having such plans and experiences from other DCG partner countries in drafting these plans.

A presentation was then made on planning and monitoring of projects, on the current status and development of the Ethiopian Food Security program and on the current status of natural resources and development in Ethiopia.

Participants, in groups, identified the priorities of the core issues, actions required, means of verification and responsible actors. These results were presented and consensus was reached on the presented results. Capacity building issues for DCG Ethiopia were also identified.
