The More and Better Campaign organized an international conference on agriculture, fisheries, pastoralism and rural development in Africa from November 26th to December 2nd. The conference included presentations, group work, and field trips on the following themes:

• Climate change and agriculture, fisheries and pastoralism in Africa
• The fight against hunger
• African Agroecological Alternatives to the Green Revolution
• Development aid for agriculture and rural development in Africa.

Members of DCG Mali and the DCG secretariat in Norway attended this conference along with participants from all over Africa and from various types of organizations. Despite the variety of the participants, common view points were reached on important issues. Commitments were also discussed and agreed on. Conclusions from the conference are available on the More and Better Campaign website.
