DCG is organising workshops on Ecofarm and improvement of food crop production in Mali from 22nd to 28th of January 2009.

Places:
- Workshop in Sévaré in the 5th administrative region of Mali, January 23rd
- Workshop in Ségou in the 4th administrative region of Mali, January 26th
- Workshop in Bamako, January 27th

The main objective of these workshops is to present the results obtained from the two projects (Ecofarm and food crop production) in order to facilitate a large flow of information and a better dissemination towards the different members of DCG as well as other partners non-members and policy makers. A field trip will take place in the Ecofarm and agro forestry production sites, the field trip will be focused on discussions with peasants. Members of DCG-Mali and the secretariat of DCG in Norway as well as Noragric will participate at these workshops.

These workshops will be a place of transfer of knowledge and experiences in order to reinforce the existing positive synergy among the different partners and to discuss the scaling up of the tested technologies.
