For greater economic cooperation and intra-Community trade "Bamako offers an opportunity to exchange views on issues relating to food security and development of food. The first international forum on the development of food industries in Africa organized by Mali in collaboration with the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) opened on February 25th at the International Conference Center in Bamako.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Economy, Industry and Commerce, Ahmadou Abdoulaye Diallo and his counterpart, Minister of State, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Sudan, Ahmed Aly Ousmane.
Thus, during these three days, delegates from various countries of the Islamic Ummah in Africa and Asia, will address the following issues: the environment for investment in SMEs, development of natural resources, financing investment, entrepreneurship development and promotion of agro-industries.
