The University of Life Sciences (UMB) invites you to attend the Anniversary Conference on Food 2009 in Ås Campus, Thursday 28, 2009.

The conference is one of the highlights during UMB’s 150-anniversary. The theme is food in its broadest sense. Food will be addressed from both the social science and the natural science aspects, and focus on national as well as international perspectives; prominent persons from Norway and abroad will attend the conference. All Norwegian presentations will be translated into English.

Key words for the conference include: food safety, globalization, resources, environment, food capitalism, obesity, hunger, consumer power, etc. The conference will create a forum of knowledge and debate.

There is no participation fee, but you must register online in order to participate.
