The Drylands Coordination Group in Ethiopia is organizing a two day workshop at Haramaya University. The workshop will share the results of the following studies conducted by DCG members during 2009:

"Analysis of bio-fuel induced Farming system and land use change in Eastern Hararghe (Eastern Ethiopia): Implication for Ecology and Economic Impact" By Dr. Feysal and his team from Haramaya University
"Discovering and Explaining the ‘Black-Box’ of Ethiopian Agricultural Produce Price Formation and its Determinants within the Current Liberalized Market Policy" By Dr. Jemah and his team from Haramaya University
