A workshop will be organized in Addis Abeba on December 28th by the Global Mechanism of the UNCCD and the Drylands Coordination Group (DCG) on the TerrAfrica Sustainable Land Management (SLM) program for Ethiopia.

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together various civil society organizations, introduce and create awareness on the government plans and priorities of the Ethiopian Strategic Investment Framework / Sustainable land Management (ESIF/SLM) in addressing land degradation problems in Ethiopia, and to create a forum for discussion on the working modalities of the program as an opportunity for CSOs to add value to their SLM work and increase SLM activities in their projects and programs.
