DCG is in the process of developing a new 5 year strategy which will be effective from January 2007. This new strategy will depart from the current strategy and will try to be flexible and meet the challenges and needs of partner organizations, as well as current developments in our partner countries. As part of the new strategy development process, DCG Norway along with its coordinators in partner countries recently undertook a SWOT analysis.

Following this analysis, questions regarding the new strategy were sent out towards the end of last year to all DCG groups in our four partner countries as well as in Norway. Feedback was received from all groups and used as input into a strategy discussion that took place on January 6th with Norwegian member organizations in Norway.

The strategy working group of the DCG board in Norway is now working with this input and the outcome of the discussions and preparing for the next strategy discussion with our partners at the international networking seminar that will take place during the last week of April.
