The Crux of Pastoralist Controversy
This paper discusses the issue of overgrazing and its counter strategies by analyzing the understanding of the concept which the author argues is imprecise. The author further looks into the consequences of this lack of precision especially in terms of its application in regional pastoral land management. This paper analyzes girls’ and women’s education in Eritrea in general, and among pastoral societies in particular. It describes the barriers hindering girls' and women's education in Eritrea and shows that these barriers are not tackled in pastoral societies.
