The purpose of this study conducted by Jamila Hassan from the University of Life Sciences is to define a livelihood and how it had been affected by chronic conflict and political instability, to assess local people’s perceptions of wealth and poverty and to find the residential plan of the Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs). The targeted community is the Nuba people of Heiban, Nuba Mountains of the Sudan.
