DCG Publications

DCG Reports
The DCG reports present and discuss findings and results from activities undertaken by DCG. These activities include applied studies, workshops and seminars on topics related to DCG’s thematic focus on food security and natural resource management in the drylands of Africa.

Many of the issues discussed in the reports are politically sensitive and/or do not have clear-cut answers. DCG intends to contribute to the discussion by shedding light on these topics and presenting alternative solutions and views. Thus, DCG is a platform where researchers, practitioners and politicians may share their views and experiences. The findings, interpretations and conclusions expressed in the individual reports are however entirely those of the author(s) and should not be attributed directly to the DCG. The DCG reports are published by the DCG Secretariat at the Miljøhuset (Environment House) in Olso, Norway. Hard copies may be ordered directly from the DCG Secretariat (info at drylands-group.org).

DCG Proceedings
The DCG Proceedings present and sum-up discussions at networking and organisational workshops held by the DCG. Compared to the DCG reports, the DCG proceedings have a more internal character.

Drylands Publications
Relevant publications from other organizations or research institutes as well as other DCG publications are gathered on the Drylands Publications page. These publications deal with issues that are relevant for drylands and thematic areas where DCG works such as natural resource management, food security, pastoralism, or the UNCCD. If you have any relevant publications for this page, feel free to contact the DCG Secretariat (info at drylands-group.org).
