The last CRIC meeting CRIC3 took place in Bonn, Germany from the 2nd to the 11th of May 2005. For more information on this meeting, please visit this website. DCG took an active part in this meeting through notably a presentation in the plenary session , its involvement in an eniD side-event which was based on this eniD report on participation and included a presentation of a Promising Practice from our member from DCG Mali, and a statement made in the plenary session on behalf of eniD and its southern partners.
A contreversial subject of discussion at CRIC3 was the World Bank's program called TerrAfrica. EniD has provided these comments to the WB on TerrAfrica to which the WB has responded with these comments.
DCG attended this meeting with 5 partners from its member organizations in the South and 3 from the North. We are now preparing ourselves for COP7 which will take place in Nairobi, Kenya from October 17th to 28th 2005.
